Bravo, orchestra, for another wonderful YEAR!

Check out some pictures from our Polish American Arts Festival concert!

And while checking out pictures, Leslie Bahler has shared some photos from one of our past concerts.

Thinking ahead: Our first fall rehearsal is on Tuesday, September 7th at Cheektowaga Central for a concert at Villa Maria College on October 24th. Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we'll hope to see you again in the fall for our 50th anniversary season.

All rehearsals (unless otherwise noted**) are on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 10:00 pm in the bandroom of Cheektowaga High School, 3600 Union Road, Cheektowaga, NY. (Directions) Again this year, we must enter the building through the double glass doors that face Union Road at the end of the handicapped ramp. The back door of the bandroom is an emergency exit, and may generate a silent (sometimes not so silent) alarm if opened.

News From The Board Of Directors

  • We would like to officially welcome Dave Maguda as our new CCSO President. He takes the reigns from Audrey Dziewa, who has served for the past several years in that capacity. Thanks for your service Audrey, and best wishes to Dave
  • As we approach our 50th year we are looking to revise our constitution and by-laws. A committee has been selected for that purpose and its first meeting will be held on Feb. 27 at Dave Maguda's house.
  • A suggestion was made and approved that we collect non-perishable foods at our Christmas concerts to help support the Food Bank of WNY.
  • The board expressed its pleasure both with the CCSO's performance at the Christmas concert and at the gate receipts.
